Student Bill Explanation
Tuition
Tuition is a charge you will see on your student bill statement. The charge of tuition is reflective of your enrollment status (Full Time, ¾ Time, ½ Time, and Below ½ Time). You are charged tuition for all semesters or trimesters that you are enrolled at Longy.
Fees
All students are charged fees in the first semester they are enrolled each academic year. All students are charged the Library, Student Services, and Technology Fees. For new students, a matriculation fee is also added in your first semester at Longy. For students majoring in Vocal Studies, Historical Performance, and Instrumental Studies, an accompaniment fee will also be charged each semester.

Check Lost or Not Yet Received (Q&A)
Question: What if my check was mailed but never arrived?
Answer: Please allow 6-8 business day for a check to arrive. If the check has not arrived within that timeframe, please email Steven Newman (snewman@longy.edu).

Answer: Please email Steven Newman (snewman@longy.edu). A new check will be created and mailed as soon as possible.

Question: When will my student refund check be available?
Answer: Student refund checks are available 1-2 business days after the loan funds have been received by Longy. Please email Lauren Flaherty (lflaherty@longy.edu), Head of Student Financial Assistance, in order to receive a more specific timeline.
Question: How will I know if my student refund check is ready?
Answer: Students will receive an email from Steven Newman when their refund check is ready for pick up.
Question: What if I can’t pick up my refund check in person?
Answer: Students have the option to have their refund check mailed to a preferred address.
Question: Will I need to show ID to get my refund check?
Answer: Yes, all students picking up in person are required to show their Government Issued ID or Longy ID prior to receiving their refund check.
